Chorley Vets is a family based independent veterinary surgery. Established in 2016 we moved to our purpose-built practice in 2020 and continue to expand our range of equipment and diagnostic tools to provide an even more complete service. The practice is nurse led with a focus on patient care.
The practice is owned by a registered veterinary nurse and further supported by a highly experienced team of veterinary nurses allowing emphasis on nurse led care. Our veterinary surgeons have a particular interest in exotics, ophthalmology, and orthopaedics in addition to standard medical/surgical procedures.
Chorley Vets has an extremely experienced committed clinical team dedicated to providing the highest level of care to all patients attending the practice. The clinical team are supported by 5 receptionists, 3 auxiliary nurses, 4 office staff and 1 cleaning operative. All staff members are committed to providing excellent customer service with patient care our priority.
Chorley Vets has grown rapidly on a non-profit basis constantly investing back into the business whilst continuing to increase our range of services to our clients. Many staff live local to the area which provides a good understanding of the client base ‘local people serving the local community’. Staff are friendly, approachable providing a personal service to each patient.
At Chorley Vets we have separate dog, cat and exotic wards to ensure we reduce stress in all patients. Predatory/prey species are housed separately, pheromone plug in treatments are used in ward areas and the practice has been awarded a ‘Silver Cat Friendly Clinic’ award. We understand when the time comes, to say goodbye to your pet, a non-clinical setting is more comforting and therefore a comfort room is available to allow owners time with their pet in a home from home environment.
