Hi, I’m Sohail Ahmad Idrees

I began my Veterinary career in 2013 in Pakistan and qualified as a veterinary surgeon from one of the best colleges in Pakistan in 2018. I worked as veterinary surgeon at Asim pet clinic for 4 years and planned to move the UK. I joined Chorley vets in September 2022 as a Veterinary Assistant to have better understanding of veterinary practice, I am sitting in Royal college of veterinary surgeons membership exam in 2024. 

My interest is in cardiology and neurology and therefore I am focusing a lot on them so that I can provide best level of health care service once I qualified in UK. I love performing surgeries and have a lot of experience from back home and looking forward to my own surgery days at Chorley vets. 

I love playing snooker and my opponent is always my Boss’s Husband Dan. I enjoy cooking and make my own Asian curries, which are always the same just with different meat and vegetables. 

My favourite animals are dogs and cats.
